What Yachtara builds
Yachtara brings the practical work of running a boat into one coherent application: vessel and crew management, maintenance and manuals, weather comparison, route planning, anchor watch and a sailing community.
We distinguish clearly between features that are available and features that remain in development. Weather, route planning using the boat's performance information, maintenance, documents, crew tools, anchor watch and community functions are current product areas. Telemetry, NMEA integration and AI boat intelligence remain future-facing until they are released and labelled otherwise.
Mission
Our mission is to make boat ownership and time on the water more organised, informed and enjoyable. We build tools that reduce fragmentation, preserve the vessel's operational knowledge and help a skipper and crew prepare more effectively.
Yachtara supports judgement; it does not replace it. Marine forecasts and computed routes always contain uncertainty. Safe navigation remains the responsibility of the skipper using official sources, suitable equipment, current observations and competent seamanship.
We also aim to reduce unnecessary waste and poorly planned maintenance by helping owners understand their vessels, retain service history and make better-informed operational choices.
